When it comes to travel, I’m definitely not the luxury type. Forget fancy hotels and oversized suitcases—give me a backpack, a few comfy clothes, some multivitamins, a pair of sturdy shoes, and I’m good to go! My travel style? Let’s call it “winging it with a sprinkle of research.”
I love diving into the adventure of planning, which for me means hitting up the local library, flipping through travel guides, and scouring the internet for the cheapest flights I can find. I even enjoy gathering tips from fellow travelers—because nothing beats a good travel hack from someone who’s been there and done that. But here’s the thing: I don’t plan too much. That way, if things go off track, it’s all part of the journey, not a recipe for disappointment.
There’s a saying that goes, “The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only pages.” Well, I don’t want to read only pages!
Traveling is one of my passion—it’s what gets me excited about life. Whether it’s diving into new cultures, discovering hidden gems, or just soaking up the local vibes, I’m all in. The moment I step off a plane, I’m itching to get my passport stamped, grab my bag, and jump headfirst into whatever adventure awaits.
It’s the thrill of the unknown that gets me—those moments of curiosity, the excitement of the journey, whether by plane, train, bus, or boat. And of course, the best part is the holiday itself: exploring diverse cultures, creating unforgettable memories, and bringing back stories that stay with me forever.
My first solo trip was in India, where I lived in hostels from the age of 17ish. Thanks to my parents for giving me the freedom to explore and the strength to handle whatever comes my way. For me, traveling is like therapy—it’s what keeps me grounded. So, here’s my motto: travel as much as you can, as far as you can, and for as long as you can. Life isn’t meant to be lived in one place.
There’s a lot more out there waiting to be explored, so many cultures to experience, and so much to do before I go to sleep. As Mark Twain said, “Explore, Dream, Discover.” And that’s exactly what I plan to do.
