This was one of those moments that felt almost unreal. There she was, Jannine Alis, the very woman I’d watched on ‘Shark Tank,’ standing right in front of me, sharing her story of entrepreneurship. It was a surreal experience.

I had the opportunity to meet Jannine at an event in Brisbane. To be honest, I attended the event mainly because she was the guest speaker. I’d always admired her journey, and seeing her in person was something I couldn’t pass up.

As she spoke, it was like watching a masterclass in resilience and innovation. She didn’t just talk about the successes; she shared the tough times too, the moments that made her question everything, the sheer determination it took to keep going. Hearing her talk about how she built Boost from the ground up was nothing short of inspiring.

What struck me most was how approachable and down-to-earth she was. Despite her incredible achievements, she spoke with a humility that made it easy to connect with her story.

It wasn’t just about the big wins or the spotlight moments—it was about the persistence, the late nights, and the belief in what she was doing, even when the odds seemed stacked against her.

Meeting Jannine wasn’t just a fan moment for me; it was a reminder of why I ventured into entrepreneurship in the first place. Seeing someone who’s been through the ups and downs and come out stronger on the other side gave me a fresh perspective on my own journey. It was proof that with enough passion and perseverance, anything is possible.
